Ann Curry

Curry and her husband moved frequently and she didn't be in a single school for longer than two years. The couple moved to various areas like San Diego Alameda Oregon Virginia. Ashland, Oregon is the school where Curry earned her diploma. She began a career that could lead to a successful job by becoming an intern at broadcasting station KTVL Channel 10 Medford. She was the first female news correspondent at this station, at age 22. In Portland, Oregon she was made an anchor and reporter by KGW the NBC affiliate. Four years later she moved back to Los Angeles as a reporter for the KCBS-TV. In her time with the station she was awarded 2 Emmy Awards.
